And Then They Came For Vinny, But I Said Nothing, For I Was Not A Sportscaster

Before I go to bed, did anyone else listening to the radio broadcast catch Charlie Steiner's story about how Vin Scully was shoved aside and treated rather rudely by some officious TSA goon-lady at the airport? It's the Dodgers, for crying out loud... the terrorist-to-player ratio has to be pretty low, and the terrorist-to-broadcaster ratio even lower. At the insistence of my readership, I have generally shied away from politics here, but it's your choice: a country of secret laws and endless harrassment and anal probes for everyone, or shutting down this kind of ineffective psychological beatdown while we have a chance. "Doing something" is not the same as doing something effective.

Comments:
Seriously, amen.
