The Weight Of Age: Dodgers 3, Giants 1

Dodger fans booed Steve Finley in his at bats, yet he turned a double into a triple for his former team thanks to a misplayed ball; the fans in the seats should have been more appreciative. Barry Bonds went 1-3 on a double, but that was it; while I'd like to think it means Odalis Perez has found something, it's hard not to notice that Bonds isn't hitting against anyone else, either.

What lies beyond 2006? Is this edition of the Giants really capable of winning anything besides the division? I know not. But I do know this: the Dodgers are, once more, in a position where they have to rely on guys like Takashi Saito to handle setup duties. Statistically, it's not a position you'd prefer to be in.

Recap

Comments:
According to that Baseball Prospectus WIN-WIN Proposition, those were baseball fans booing Finley.
