A Fight! A Fight!
Pierzynski and a... Cub. Okay, it doesn't rhyme like the old racist chant they used when I was a kid. Michael Barrett was clearly in the wrong here, but ... who doesn't want to punch A.J. Pierzynski in the chops, anyway? It's not like the Cubs are on a tear or anything, and it's not like (a) Pierzynski wasn't a fellow catcher, or (b) Barrett had the ball. Pierzynski gave Barrett a Darin Erstad-style forearm coming home, so basically there was no good reason for the contact, thus precipitating the uppercut. Four ejections ensued, one of whom sadly was not Ozzie Guillen.
