Bulger: 0.1 IP, 0 ER, 0 H, 0 K, 0 BB, 1.06 ERA
And you know what? It's still a quality start. Good for Moseley. Alejandro Prieto and Paul Phillips broke up the 2-2 tie in the eighth with a sac fly and an RBI single. Salt Lake made four errors in an ugly defensive game; only one of the runs was unearned, though all were against Moseley.
2006-05-12: Arkansas did not play
Friday night and no game scheduled? Wuzza?
2006-05-12: High Desert 3, Rancho Cucamonga 4 #
Sandoval, F: 3-3, 1 2B
Rodriguez, S: 2-3, 1 RBI
Collins: 1-4, 1 RBI, 1 K

Lynch: (W, 1-0) (in relief), 0.2 IP, 0 ER, 0 H, 0 K, 0 BB, 0.00 ERA
Jepsen: 1.0 IP, 0 ER, 0 H, 1 K, 0 BB, 3.68 ERA
Fernando Rodriguez let this one get tied up in the sixth, but Cody Fuller saved his bacon with an RBI single in the eighth. Kevin Jepsen notched the save.
2006-05-12: Cedar Rapids 7, Clinton 8 #
Coon: 1-3, 2 BB
Statia: 1-4, 2 RBI, 1 BB
Renz: 2-5, 1 2B, 2 RBI

Howell: (L, 1-3) (in relief), 1.1 IP, 1 ER, 2 H, 2 K, 1 BB, 4.50 ERA
The Kernels scored six in the fifth, sending ten batters to the plate, but Rangers' low-A affiliate Lumberkings kept chipping away, winning the game in the bottom of the ninth on an RBI single from Freddie Thon.
2006-05-12: AZL Angels did not play
2006-05-12: Orem did not play
2006-05-12: Memphis 0, Las Vegas 3 #
Young, D: 3-4
Guzman, J: 0-4, 2 K
Loney: 3-4, 1 2B, 1 RBI
Weber, J: 1-1, 1 HR, 1 RBI
Juarez: (W, 3-2), 7.0 IP, 0 ER, 4 H, 1 K, 3 BB, 2.89 ERA
Kuo: (H, 1), 1.2 IP, 0 ER, 2 H, 2 K, 1 BB, 1.50 ERA
The good guys won again, with James Loney and Delwyn Young both having multi-hit nights. Kuo continues to scare me; too many hits. The 51's were bailed out by two GIDPs from the Redbirds.
2006-05-12: Jacksonville 6, Mobile 0 #
Abreu: 1-5
Hu: 2-4, 2 2B, 1 BB, 1 K
Kemp: 2-5, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 1 K
LaRoche: 2-5, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 2 K
Zapp: 1-3, 1 HR, 1 RBI, 2 BB, 1 K
Ruan: 2-5, 2 2B, 1 K
Ellis: 0-3, 2 BB, 1 K
Raglani: 0-1, 1 K
Muegge: (W, 3-4), 7.0 IP, 0 ER, 5 H, 6 K, 1 BB, 4.08 ERA
The Suns strung together some timely hits, and a solid outing by Danny Muegge to collect a win. Does anybody remember Wilkin Ruan? He used to be a 51, and for about 21 games in 2003 when things looked desperate, he got his chance in the Show, and flopped. He got into the Kansas City organization for a couple years, and now here he is back in a Dodgers system uniform.
2006-05-12: Lakeland 5, Vero Beach 2 #
Paul, X: 2-5, 1 K
Hoffmann: 1-4, 1 K
Dewitt: 1-3, 1 2B, 1 BB, 2 K
Bruce: 2-4, 1 2B, 1 HR, 1 RBI, 1 K
Denker, T: 0-3, 1 BB, 1 K
Johnson, B: (L, 1-2), 5.2 IP, 5 ER, 9 H, 1 K, 0 BB, 3.79 ERA
Ramirez: 2.1 IP, 0 ER, 0 H, 3 K, 0 BB, 0.00 ERA
Lakeland Tigers starter Lance Davis struck out 11 in 6.2 IP as Vero continued their losing ways.
2006-05-12: Savannah 1, Columbus 7 #
De Jesus: 2-5, 1 RBI
Mitchell: 2-5, 1 2B, 2 RBI
Mooneyham: 2-4, 1 2B, 2 RBI, 1 BB
May: 2-5, 1 2B, 2 K
Sutherland: 3-4, 1 2B
Wade: (W, 2-0), 6.0 IP, 1 ER, 6 H, 6 K, 1 BB, 3.12 ERA
Pfeiffer: 3.0 IP, 0 ER, 1 H, 6 K, 2 BB, 3.79 ERA
Jason Mooneyham, a starter for Chapman University, has advanced a level and continues to have good contact skills, though he's not getting regular play as a starting 1B; he seems to be a reserve type, his .444 average notwithstanding. The Catfish got the win in the four-run fifth; David Pfeiffer got the three-inning save.
2006-05-12: GCL Dodgers did not play
2006-05-12: Ogden did not play
