Rosenthal: Blue Jays Focusing On Kennedy

Ken Rosenthal says the Blue Jays are focusing on Adam Kennedy in trade talks, with the current suggested return being Shea Hillenbrand.
One potential sticking point: Hillenbrand is making $5.8 million, Kennedy $3.35 million. Also, Hillenbrand fits best as a DH, a position the Angels might need to leave open for left fielder Garret Anderson, who is battling plantar fasciitis in his left foot.

Comments:
At this point, wouldn't Hillenbrand fit pretty well at 1st or 3rd?

On the saturday radio pregame show, I heard one of the Angel beat writers say that he thought the Angels would give Kendry Morales a shot before making a trade for a bat.

Baseball is a busniess, and if Tronto needs a second baseman ,it would be a good fit.Kennedy loves playing for the Angels, right now I don't think anything would help the Angels. They have tried 2 rookies behind the plate in Napoli and Mathis,Napoli looks the best right now ,but neither one of them hold a candle to Benji, they got rid of Wash and the Bird man and what did they get in return?Stoneman must be in dream land he knew Anderson had health problems, and to put so much pressure on Dallas and Casey to be the big power hitters for the Angels this year, well like I said he must be dreaming. And putting Erstad back in center was a mistake even my wife saw that. He is a great centerfielde the best the Angels have but his body can't take playing center field every day.Kennedy might go,but if Stoneman had any brains he would have made the moves to get another bat in the lineup before spring training,to put on your marbles on the rookies is asking to much I think

Napoli's throwing out over 50% of base stealers (4-7). On that fact alone he's better than Bengie.
