Tech: Fedora Core 5+Firefox+Flash Fonts Working

Turns out the problem with Fedora Core 5 Flash, Firefox, and Fonts — the all F's trouble — was that Flash itself got confused trying to figure out where to get its font paths. All better now, though it's amazing how poorly documented this was. As usual, the trick is to find the right keywords to search for in Google.

Had never seen that bug because Gentoo set this up for me automatically.

The fix didn't take on Ubuntu Dapper, but it did lead me to EasyUbuntu, which reinstalled Flash and solved the problem.

It also installed Java, and codecs to get mlb.audio working on Ubuntu. It was almost too easy!
