spcaLA Day At Angels Stadium
I forgot to mention this in my morning post, but it's sufficiently important that it should get its own mention: the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles is hosting a benefit and all you have to do is show up at the park. The tickets are even discounted from normal face value; the game is on Sunday, August 20, against the Mariners. There will also be a pregame auction, and a chance to throw out the first pitch, a chance for kids to become an honorary batboy or girl for the game, and other Angels memorabilia.
