Brandon Wood has left the Travs to be with his father as his father has surgery to correct a blockage in an artery in his neck. If all goes well, Wood should return on Monday.

Mark Alexander continues to bounce back from his wretched 7/12 and 7/24 games, pitching a scoreless ninth.
