AFL Scorebook

And not that this has anything to do with anything, but the Greensboro Grasshoppers, Sally League (low class A) affiliate of the Florida Marlins, have a bat girl who can retrieve bats, balls, and also runs victory laps at the ballpark. She is also a black Labrador Retriever.

2006-10-14: Scottsdale 7, Peo Javelinas 15 #
Richar: 2-4, 1 2B, 1 BB, 1 K
Frandsen: 0-3, 2 BB
Braun, R: 2-4, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 1 K
Evans: 1-5, 2 RBI, 3 K
D'Antona: 1-4, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 1 K
Wilson: 1-4, 1 HR, 1 RBI, 1 K
Davidson: 2.2 IP, 2 R, 2 ER, 3 H, 2 K, 1 BB, 6.75 ERA
Thompson: (L, 0-1) (in relief), 1.1 IP, 4 R, 3 ER, 4 H, 0 K, 1 BB, 1 HR, 34.71 ERA
Nobody expected anything out of Dan Davidson at this point; he's providing filler. But Rich Thompson, on the other hand, well... ouch. Bobby Wilson and Terry Evans both contributed in the losing effort, Wilson with a solo homer and Evans with an RBI single.

Not seeing any participation by the Dodgers farmhands here, but did you know that Chin-Lung Hu has a blog?

Update: gee, it would help if I got the right team... sheesh. The Dodgers were with the Desert Dogs last year.

Comments:
The Dodger farmhands play for the Mesa Solar Sox. I read on the Dodger message board the other day that Chin-Lung Hu left the game the other day with a possible injury. Haven't heard anything since.

Aw, crap. I'll have to readjust my parser...

Are you planning to post Winter league scores to Rob? The Hawaiian Winter League is in full swing but a couple of games due to rain and get this, a 6.4 earthquake in the middle of the Pacific. You don't feel those everyday. Anyway, this the HWB's website: http://www.hawaiiwinterbaseball.com. As you already know, the Dodger farmhands are on the North Shore Honu. Watched their second game, Xavier Paul's arm is as advertised, he cansling it. His bat needs a little more work. Cory Dunlap is trying to emulate Mo Vaugn in physique apparently but he can hit the ball just fine.

I'll take a look at this but I don't know if they're in the same format as everything else.
