Johan Santana Wins Second Unanimous Cy Young

Minnesota Twins starter Johan Santana won his second Cy Young award by unanimous vote today. He is the fifth pitcher to win the award twice by unanimous vote, the others being Sandy Koufax (who did it three times), Roger Clemens, Pedro Martinez, and Greg Maddux.

Comments:
wow i think this is his 3rd one no?

It's his second, though many would argue that he should have won in 2005, when the award went to Bartolo Colon. The large intestine won more games, but Santana had the better ERA and more strikeouts, among other things.
