Richie Scheinblum CAL b. 1942, played 1973-1974, All-Star: 1972. Not a remarkable player by any stretch; former Angel exec Cedric Tallis flipped him for three-time All-Star Hal McRae in Kansas City, one of a series of brilliant moves.

Dodgers' Minor League Search Continues

The Dodgers search for a skipper for their Las Vegas affiliate, and a minor league field coordinator, continues; the Las Vegas position is expected to be filled next week, and has been whittled to three finalists. The field coordinator will take longer.

Salmon Roasted

And how comes it I didn't hear of this?
"I'm going to miss one thing about you," said Angels outfielder Garret Anderson, pausing at the podium and then mischievously eyeing Salmon on his left.

"I'm going to miss how for the last seven years, you left your chair in front of my locker. I did everything I could! I folded that chair up, stuffed it in your locker, pushed it away, and now I've come to the conclusion that you just didn't care."

it's gonna be weird not seeing Salmon in an Angels Uni, for what it's worth that guy is everything that is good in a human being
