Angels Name Spring NRI's
The list includes pitchers Nick Adenhart, Matt Hensley, Tommy Mendoza, Ryan Aldridge, Robert Mosebach, Casey Olenberger, Alex Serrano, Matt Wilhite, Nick Green, and Marcus Gwyn; infielders Brandon Wood, Casey Smith, Mike Eylward, Sean Rodriguez and Hanley Statia; catchers Brent Del Chiaro, Tim Duff, Brent Johnson and Flint Wipke; and outfielders Curtis Pride, Aaron Peel, and Nathan Haynes. Kind of a shock to see Pride there again...
Update: Just noticed that Bootcheck was released from the organization in addition to being DFA'd. Bootcheck was a first-round pick in the 2000 draft; he had been rated the 19th-best prospect in the Angels system in the 2004 Baseball America Prospect Handbook, but injuries (most recently including a strained hamstring suffered while running to a brawl) and ineffectiveness turned him into a pumpkin. We wish him luck in his future endeavors.

He left the organization for a while and moved to the Giants, then he played for in indy ball with the Northern League's Gary RailCats.
Where's Stephen Marek and Kevin Lynch on that list? Any reason why they weren't invited?
