OT: Ankle Me This
Matt Welch roasts LA Observed for using the word "ankle" as a verb. I have a friend who has a subscription to the online Variety who occaisionally forwards articles he thinks are interesting, and thanks to their impenetrable English, those articles are just as incomprehensible.
One day when the earth is a floating ice ball in space, and the alien archeologists start digging through the permafrost to find the remains of our libraries, even with a perfect understanding of English they'll still need a Rosetta stone to decode the murk that rag emits.
