Dodgers Release Damien Jackson, Demote Others
The Dodgers released Damien Jackson after he hit .125 in spring training.
"I no longer have anything to do with baseball," an angry Jackson said before clearing out his locker, furiously shoving equipment and clothes into his duffel bag and knocking down two chairs on his way out....
Pitchers Eric Hull, Zach Hammes and Mike Megrew were optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas, while non-roster invitees Scott Elbert, A.J. Ellis, Chin-lung Hu, Ken Huckaby, Travis Smith, Fernando Tatis and Dario Veras were reassigned to minor league camp.
