St. Louis Angels Sidelined
Both David Eckstein and Adam Kennedy are taking time off because of soreness, Eckstein in the same obliques he had trouble with last year. Scott Spiezio fills in for both of them, and I wonder how Jimmy Edmonds is feeling these days? Not so good, it seems; he can't swing a bat or run for the first two weeks of spring training under orders of the team's training/medical staff, and may start the season on the DL. He had offseason shoulder surgery after accepting a $19M/2-year deal that will probably represent his final seasons in the majors.
