Confirmed: Barrett Dumped To Padres
This morning's rumor of a Michael Barrett dump to the Padres has become a confirmed fact. Betcha Greg Maddux issued a few choice expletives on hearing that news.
Update: David Pinto comes to the interesting conclusion that "This seems to me like the Padres helping out the Cubs, and maybe improving their offense at catcher a little."
