- The Travs demoted pitcher Jose Arredondo to Rancho Cucamonga, following a tirade in which he stormed off the mound during the ninth inning of a June 6 start. He was replaced with Brad Beck from Rancho, who has a 1-2 record and a 6.05 ERA.
- Maicer Izturis has been shut down with discomfort in his side while running the bases at AAA Salt Lake. He has been flown back to Los Angeles to see a physician.
- It's official: Mitch Jones is now a Nippon Ham Fighter, though I have no idea why he or they want to fight ham. Maybe they're practicing Jews?
