Rockies' Sweep Fuels October Dreams: Rockies 4, Yankees 3
So far, Roger Clemens has really helped out ... the other guys, and today's a good example. The Rocket has been outpitched twice, once against the Mets (a good game, really), and today against the Rockies, who swept the Yanks at Coors in three. Clemens went 4.1 innings and gave up four runs; he now has a 1-2 record with a 4.86 ERA. For the Rocks, Troy Tulowitzki went 3-for-4 with a solo homer, and Rodrigo Lopez went 4-0 with the win, ending the day with a 2.93 ERA. I must say I approve highly. The Rocks now have a 38-34 record, and are 3.5 games out of the division lead, shared now by San Diego and Arizona, with the Dodgers in second place at 40-31, a game back.
