Meta: One Million

Thanks largely to occaisional political outbursts, my general crankiness concerning the Angels, and the generally deplorable, predictable, and increasingly uninteresting state of the Dodgers, my daily site totals are down a bit from a couple years ago from just over 1,000-1,200 a day to around 900-1,000. Some time this morning, the old unique user counter turned over to 1,000,000 visits; for those still hanging around for my grumpy views on the state of these two teams, why, thank you for reading. It's been an honor.

One of the first places I stop every day, and one of the last I visit in the evening. I don't get to the LATimes Sports section every day now (it was a daily routine from the time I was in second grade until recently), but I always make sure to visit 6-4-2. Thanks for what you do, 'duck.

Well, I don't visit here six or eight times a day like I've been known to do, but I do visit a couple times. 6-4-2 is first on my alphabetical bookmarks, so it's usually the first place I stop...even in the middle of the night.

eusince the 'kinder, gentler Rob' isn't as interesting, i'm just dropping by for content like "Underpants Gnomes" and "Star Wars Simpsons" these days.

and of course i get a chuckle of latest goings on in the Chavez Ravine Follies"

keep up the good work and keep your critical eye open, - it's not about the # of views, its the quality of content and analysis that matters. you are not the mass market NY Post of the Halosphere, it's more the the NY Times here.

Congrats, Rob!

You are one of only three baseball feeds in my Google Reader. I'll continue reading regularly, grumpiness or no. As long as I can occasionally reciprocate when your underwater blues give me the bends. Forgive me if I assume this to kvetch-free zone, where "free" means "liberally". In any event, congrats on the milestone.
