Lance Parrish will not return as the Dodgers' manager at Great Lakes next year."I've had a wonderful experience here and everyone has been great to me," Parrish said. "I guess it's a part of the game of baseball. I'll move on and hopefully find another opportunity with another club."

Another walkoff win and while Brandon Wood didn't drive it in (that was Adam Pavkovich who did the honors), he did start it with a leadoff single in the bottom of the ninth. The Bees trailed early 5-0 but came back for four in the fourth, aided by a pair of Sacramento errors, and survived five runs of bullpen leakage in the sixth and eighth; the Bees never led until the final at-bat, the only one that counted.

2007-09-06: Orem 4, Ogden 5 #
Gronkowski: 2-4, 2 RBI
Anton: 2.0 IP, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 H, 3 K, 0 BB, 3.86 ERA

Hurst: (BS, 3)(L, 3-3) (in relief), 0.1 IP, 4 R, 3 ER, 3 H, 0 K, 1 BB, 5.31 ERA
Depending on how you look at it, Ogden staged an improbable four-run ninth-inning rally or Orem's bullpen suffered a heartburn-inducing meltdown, assisted by two errors in that inning alone, part of four Orem made on the night that eventually accounted for two unearned runs.
