Pirates Fire Jim Tracy
The Pittsburgh Pirates fired Jim Tracy, as well as scouting director Ed Creech and player development director Brian Graham. Tracy was the Dodgers' manager from 2001 through 2005, and Creech was the Dodgers' scouting director under Kevin Malone. Pitching coach Jim Colborn and hitting coach Jim Lett were also fired, both also Dodger coaches under Jim Tracy.
