Pickoff Moves
Neyer Notices SoSG
In today's blog post (h/t Jon). Welcome to the big-time, I guess.BTW, interesting multipart series on the Dodgers' bloggers night, to which I was not invited <snif>. Oh, well.
Roster Notes
- The Angels may send Reggie Willits to AAA Salt Lake where he can get regular playing time instead of being the fifth outfielder on a team that has six. Reg-gie has one at bat so far this season.
- Nomar Garciaparra has returned to the Dodgers and is expected to be activated Friday. Blake DeWitt isn't being sent down.
- Andy LaRoche threw across the diamond yesterday; he will travel with the team to Atlanta, and from there will join extended spring training in Florida.
- Tony Abreu has been shut down with lingering groin soreness.
- The Red Sox have disabled former Dodger Alex Cora and called up Joe Thurston to take his place on the roster. Cora had right elbow soreness that limited his ability to throw.
- Bartolo Colon has started throwing the ball again, and thank heaven he's no longer the Angels' problem.
