Inland Empire rallied from a 7-0 deficit to get to 8-7 by the end of the seventh, but Rancho held the lead with four relievers. Alberto Bastard got hit for six runs, only four earned, while Tommy Mendoza gave up three earned, four total. Mark Trumbo paced the Quakes with four RBIs and a pair of doubles.
