Old Friends Night: Rays 8, Blue Jays 3 (13 Innings)

Ken Rosenthal wrote a glowing report on Troy Percival today. Is that something like the Sports Illustrated cover curse? I dunno, but he suffered his first blown save today. With Tampa Bay cruising to a 3-0 victory on the road on an eight-inning, six-hit shutout by former Dodger Edwin Jackson, the Jays tied it up in the ninth against Percival on a Vernon Wells homer and an Aaron Hill single. Tampa Bay scored five in the top of the thirteenth, the final four on Dioner Navarro's grand slam, his first homer of the season and the second slam of his career.
