Brian Giles Nixes Waiver Deal To Red Sox
Despite some earlier hullabaloo from Ken Rosenthal that Brian Giles might be headed to Boston on waivers, it turns out that the Padres' outfielder will stay in San Diego. It's unknown whether Giles used his limited no-trade clause to stop it or the teams couldn't agree on players.
