MLB Announces 2009 Schedule
MLB has announced their 2009 schedule; opening day is an incredibly tardy April 6, which could extend the postseason into November. The Angels kick off the season at home versus Oakland, and the Dodgers on the road at San Diego. The Angels will play interleague against the NL West outside of the usual Dodgers matchup (San Francisco, San Diego, Colorado, Arizona) while the Dodgers play the A's, Rangers, White Sox, and Mariners. The Dodgers finish at home against the Rockies, while the Angels finish on the road at Oakland.
