Minor League Scorebook
News
The Angels have promoted Trevor Reckling to AA Arkansas after a stellar but brief stint with Rancho in which he posted a 0.90 ERA in three starts. As a consequence, the Angels are also promoting Sean O'Sullivan to AAA Salt Lake. Help may be on the way, but having to reach all the way down to AA for it isn't liable to yield good results at the major league level, not this early.Scores

again, WTH? - bring up Walden and Reckling NOW. or sign Pedro.
sorry Matt Palmer but I'm going 6-4-2 on you - your cup is half empty and i expect we'll solidify our 'worst record in the MLB' by midnight.

Ho ho!
Palmer could give the Angels a useful five innings by virtue of the Unknown Pitcher Syndrome (though this admittedly usually works better for lefties than righties).

crow for breakfast this morning? perhaps, though 5 runs given up in 6 innings plus, I should be able to drowned it in salsa. Nevertheless, yummy - he's getting another start and looks like he just needs confidence, to trust his stuff and know he belongs out there.
i know Reckling and Walden are off kilter when it comes to the rotation Starter schedule needs, but its all hands on deck and play the best cards. Scios says he liked Palmer because he has big league experience. Well, if that's the criteria, maybe he should resign Jeff Weaver.
