So says the Yahoo box score, but in reality, it was Rafael Furcal calling for the ball to go to second from noodle-armed Juan Pierre on a blooper from Nomar that caused the fleet Rajai Davis to keep running from third and eventually score. Luckily, the Dodgers survived it with some nice baserunning on their own in the bottom of the 7th as James Loney scored on Mark Loretta's pinch-hit single; Russell Martin, whom something is wrong with, managed to stay in a rundown long enough for Loney to score, and that was all that mattered.
With Jonathan Broxton day-to-day because of an injured toe, closing duties fell on Ronald Belisario and ultimately Ramon Troncoso, who together got out of the ninth unscathed.
