Dodgers Not Penalized For Illegal Manny Clubhouse Appearance

Ramirez greeted teammates and spoke with reporters in the Dodgers' clubhouse before Tuesday's game. Players under suspension are not permitted to use the clubhouse during the media access period, which begins 3 1/2 hours before game time....
He surprised the Dodgers by showing up in the clubhouse. In an impromptu meeting with reporters, he said he has apologized to fans, teammates and ownership but said he had no plan to hold a news conference or otherwise explain the events that led to his suspension.
"I didn't kill nobody, I didn't rape nobody, so that's it," Ramirez said. "I'm just going to come and play the game."
