Minor League Scorebook

News

The Travs will be sending six players to the Texas League midseason All-Star game:
Centerfielder Peter Bourjos (currently on the disabled list) and catcher Hank Conger were both named starters, while infielder-outfielder Nate Sutton was selected as an infield reserve. Starting pitchers Trevor Reckling and Trevor Bell (just promoted to Triple-A Salt Lake) also made the team, as well as reliever Bobby Mosebach, honored as a Texas League All-Star for the second time.

Comments:
That 66ers lineup looks like an All-Star team. Mattingly, Ad(rian?) Gonzales, Van Slyke, Ortiz, Robinson, Johnson.

Looks like they even managed to land the offspring of an aging folk singer. All they need is a Seeger or a Guthrie.
