Rumors Of The Angels Moving To The NL West Are Greatly Exaggerated: Angels 12, Diamondbacks 3

The Angels rode an eight-run second inning to an easy victory, capped by Torii Hunter's two-run jack. When you chase the starter — in this case, the sadly-named Billy Buckner — after only one and two thirds, you know it's gonna be a good day.

Jered Weaver posted a quality start, but seemed to have trouble doing it; he gave up a couple homers, but walked four too. Darren Oliver and Jason Bulger contributed three scoreless innings of work (Bulger the eighth and ninth innings). It makes you almost think the Angels don't have any bullpen problems.

Against the NL West.
