Cardinals Sign John Smoltz
Via David Pinto, it appears that recently released Red Sox starter John Smoltz has inked a deal with the Cardinals. He could join the Cardinals immediately, and either replace Mitchell Boggs in the rotation, or take the long man slot in the bullpen.
