Unexpected Shut Out: Dodgers 5, Braves 0
Missed almost all of this, but I was utterly shocked to see Jason Schmidt pick up his second win with the Dodgers this season and go six innings. He walked more (5) than he struck out (3), but I guess what can you say? No? Huh.
Andre Ethier's two-out, three-run jack in the fifth was all the scoring the Dodgers needed here. They picked up two more on the way out the door to their 64th win, one on Ethier's fourth RBI of the day.
