More Pickoff Moves

The Ambulance Team Recovering, Slowly

The Angels' reclusive slugger is now feeling much improved under his anti-inflammatory medications. He says "I feel as close to normal as normal can be." We here at 6-4-2 wish him a speedy return.

Also in that same story, Brendan Donnelly is now throwing from the mound. Salmon went 1-4 with a walk and two strikeouts at Rancho. He will continue in rehab until he feels well enough to return.

Brewers 4, Dodgers 1

I didn't see this one, but I had ominous feelings. Well, I know that's just par for the course for someone who takes Murphy's Law as a catechism, but in fairness, it was completely unexpected to see Paulie go 0-4. But this ain't last year's Brewers; the other divisions need to be on their toes.

Recap

Tomorrow's Lineup

The Angels face Pedro Martinez tomorrow, but it's a different Pedro they face: over the last month, he owns a 4.50 ERA. Usually I'd say this would be a slam dunk win for Boston, but perhaps we're a little more evenly matched than usual. It should be a good game, anyway.

Comments:
Milton Bradley doesn't play well with others.
