Yankees Afflicted With Parasites
Thanks to the Texas Rangers Blog for this Newsday story about Kevin Brown and Jason Giambi coming down with a parasitic disease. Giambi was diagnosed earlier this week, but doctors say the parasite is very unusual and unlikely to spread by shaking hands and similar sorts of contact, and generally killed off with antibiotics. Of course, Yankee outfielder Gary Sheffield recently discovered a parasite but only legal action has been known to get rid of Scott Boras.
