Nothing New Here, Move On -- Almost
We knew that the Angels lust after Carlos Beltran. (Not the switching-teams kind of lust, either. Not that there's anything wrong with that.) What we didn't know was that the Angels were after Nomar, and may be interested in Orlando Cabrera; this has to be a stunning rebuke of Eckstein, or else the admission that Kennedy can't be counted on next year. Finally, Bud Black had knee surgery "to repair a torn ligament in his right knee, an injury Stoneman said was the result of wear and tear." No doubt it came from pleading with Ortiz and Sele to please just find the &#@% plate.
