Look Out, Yankees: Green Trade Off
MLB.com says Shawn Green has elected not to waive his no-trade clause, and the trade to Arizona is accordingly off. The OP re-signing is supposedly on, though, barring any problems at tomorrow's physical. The big question: will this kill the related Randy Johnson trade?
Comments:
Rob,
I generally like your stuff.
Haven't been around long enough to know
if your response to criticism is healthy
"I wanna learn and get better" or "Get
outa my house, I'm a twenty-first century
American, and already know everything I
gotta know."
On Dodger Thoughts today, you used the
nails-on-blackboard phrase "revert back."
The prefix "re" takes care of the "back."
To revert is to go back. You rally (not
back, in spite of Criqui from ND), you
remember (not back), you revert.
You free money (not up), you continue,
in almost all instances (not on), you
add and divide (not up), and you give
reasons (not why) for certain results
(not end results). At this point (not in
time), that seems enough.
regards - and I meant what I said about
enjoying your stuff. It's apt, honest,
and almost always well-sung....
