Raul Mondesi Loses It, Invents Contract For Self
For the benefit of those reading about the Angels, I note that Jon passes on this AP story regarding Raul Mondesi, who claims to have been signed by the Atlanta Braves, for $1M/one year. The Braves, for their part, say no such deal has been reached: "He has not signed with us, and we don't have plans for an announcement today", according to Braves spokesman Brad Hainje.
Stay away from that airplane glue, Raul.
Update: Nope. Not a huffer's fantasy after all. For one year, $1M.
