Ghame Over, Over: Dodgers 5, Phillies 1

Yhency lost his job as closer yesterday, which was all right by me, and frankly, for pretty much everyone else. That was the good news.

The bad news, despite all efforts by the Dodger Thoughts commenters to psionically break every single ligament in Jason Phillips body, making it impossible for him to play first, is that tonight's home run will now cement him starting at that position for the balance of the year, save when Tracy gets a yen for Saenz.

OP pitched a great game against Philly, keeping them down through eight fairly economical innings.

Despite all of it, I just can't get too excited; they're seven games back of first place San Diego, who themselves are only two games above .500.
