King Felix: 115 Pitches
I guess the saw that the Mariners are bound and determined to destroy their young arms is absolutely true, as the M's let Felix Hernandez throw 115 pitches in yesterday's 8-3 pounding of the Twins. (Five of those runs came off the Twinkies' bullpen. Oof.) As the Minor League Ball poster noted, "one win now isn't worth risking tons of wins later".
In related news, M's starter Gil Meche was sent to the DL, for patellar tendinitis. It's going around, I see.
