At least, that's what it seemed Jim Tracy was trying to tell us with this game. Against Byun-Hyung Kim, a pitcher with a 5.43 ERA coming into this game -- i.e., a guy barely hanging on in the major leagues -- the Dodgers could summon but three hits. I guess there's some kind of irony to it after Bradley got what is probably the goodbye kiss for the season in tonight's press conference. Second opinions will probably be limited to "and you should stop fighting with Jeff Kent."
Houlton gets, for his troubles, another tough luck no-decision, Steve Schmoll gives up two earned in two thirds of an inning, and I don't feel so well myself. I wonder how Kent feels; I hope it's about this big.
