Arbitrage

Via Stubhub.com, the prices of World Series tickets in the cities left where those games might be played:

                     Least/Most
    Team              Expensive
=================================
Chicago White Sox    $700/$10,000
St. Louis Cardinals  $417/$7,962
Houston Astros       $501/$2,500

With those kinds of differentials, White Sox fans could buy a ticket in one of the opposition cities and pay for airfare along the way.

Thanks to Helen for pointing this out.

Comments:
You know, I like the St Louis mentality and their newspaper columnists are 10,000 times better than what I've read in SoCal or the Bay Area. But $69 WS seats. Nah, that's impossible, is it? :D

Actually, you're right: I was looking at the NLCS tickets. But thanks for the catch.
