Anaheim May Plan On Angels Leaving
The city of Anaheim may plan on the Angels leaving Angel Stadium if the team continues to call itself the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, according to the Times. The city would refuse to maintain the facility unless Arte Moreno reverted the name to the Anaheim Angels, and in 2016, when the current lease expires, the stadium could be in pretty sorry shape. "Moreno has said he wants to stay in Anaheim but would consider moving the team if the legal battle with the city reaches an appellate court." The trial over the name is set to start on Monday.
