Being (Near) 40's Tough
And I would know, although they never had to take me out of the lineup because I had played six games in a row. Bonds is expected to make his next start, although — sore? After only six games? Well, okay, but imagine what he'll feel like by the All Star break.
Comments:
Being over 40 is tough to play at the level that most of these guys are used to. These players take pride in there game and above all don't want to embarrase themselves. But I am so tired of the whole Bonds thing, major league baseball knew bonds and Palamiro and that guy from St.Louis were on steriods, they just turned there backs!I will give Bonds credit for hitting the home runs ,I don't know how much Steriods help in hitting a basball, like if Joe blow took steriods would he have hit as many home runs? I am just mad that bonds and the rest did something that was against the rules, they made the playing field un even for the rest of the players.Thats wrong,Pete Rose was wrong and he has had to pay the price so should bonds and the rest.
