Stalemate: Dodgers 0, Angels 0
As for the Angels: Kelvim Escobar pitched well, for the most part, but heck, so did everybody else. There was a tiny bit of tension in the ninth when Tim Salmon came up in the ninth -- but he lined out instead of hitting the immensely gratifying home run that everyone expected. And the same with Brian Specht when Kendry Morales, Howie Kendrick, and Jeff Mathis had successfully gotten aboard, loading the bases; Specht grounded to short to end the ninth, proving why he's no longer considered a prospect. The scene repeated itself in the bottom of the 10th when Maicer Izturis belted a rare one-out double, only to be stranded when Nick Gorneault struck out, and Edgardo Alfonso rolled out to short.
One other thing of note I forgot to mention: Erstad batted sixth. Mike is coming to his senses.
