Angels Wikipedia Entry
Looks like Matt Welch and others have been pretty busy on the team's Wikipedia entry. It's a really well-written thumbnail history of the team.
Comments:
With all the run-on sentences in THIS WIKI ENTRY, you gotta wonder if the author is also the subject.
I like it very much - however, as a heavy reader of Wikipedia entries, it's not exactly "non-point-of-view" and could do with more references (eg - evidence of hints made by the organisation to move in 1995 would have been useful) but otherwise it was terrific.
I didn't know about the schedules having an LA team in 1941, f'rinstance.
A very good read.

a good read on Memorial Day. I liked the early history part. i'd like to add the Angels were "born" the exact same day i was, Dec 14, 1960 (the day of the expansion draft) - the franchise had just been awarded a week earlier.
also, i did see what i think is an error: "Don Baylor became the first designated hitter to win the American League Most Valuable Player award" - i thought this too to be true for the longest time, but Baylor i think actually played more games in the Outfield that year, and isn't really considered by most to be the 1st DH to win MVP.
