A Miss, And A Hit: Dodgers 5, Rockies 4

Though nobody expects Nomar Garciaparra to duke it out for the NL home run title this year, he and Albert Pujols were named NL co-Players of the Week. The Dodgers' first baseman was responsible for 25 bases while batting .480 and driving in eight.

Today's game continued that excellent record, as he drove in yet another RBI on a single and took second on the throw in the seventh; beyond that cheap excuse to work a wire story into the game recap, I'll add that Tomko continues to amaze me in that I always expect him to blow up, and Drew is finally earning some trust from me offensively. I better not say anymore; I missed the whole damn thing, thanks to the fact that I always forget these intradivision games don't necessarily have a day off inbetween, and I've had a bad track record lately.
