Will Carroll Injury Updates
From today's UTK:
- On Eric Gagne: I can look back now and see the signs that this was coming. Gagne was allowed to pitch at his own pace, passing tests as they came rather than on some artificial schedule. While there were no setbacks to speak of, the progress didn't come at a pace that matched up with Opening Day.
- Rafael Furcal won't be back any time soon, and might start the season on the DL.
- Carroll calls the estimated three-month recovery for the A's Dan Johnson in yesterday's AP story "a bit heavy".
