Dodgers Call Up Tony Abreu, Send Down Hong-Chih Kuo
Via Jon, the Dodgers have called up Tony Abreu and sent down Hong-Chih Kuo. That gives the Dodgers a theoretical three third basemen, counting Wilson Betemit and Andy LaRoche; the point of this seems to be the spaghetti principle of major league roster construction, i.e., throw all three against the wall and see who sticks.
