Dodgers DFA Brett Tomko

About time. Couldn't pitch out of the pen, couldn't pitch in the rotation... what was left?

Update: U.S.S. Mariner wants him back. You can have him.

I predict that St. Louis will pick Tomko up and that Duncan will have him pitching well soon. It would be sad but not surprising.

It's possible. There have been times in Tomko's career when he's pitched very well. They haven't lasted very long, and they seem to be happening with less frequency.

Still, could the Dodgers really have expected anything more from him than they actually got?
